  1. don´t know why but i was expecting a "boat" - in german "boot" - and was surprised for a second to see a "stiefel".......
    oh my.
perfect proportions, shoes are really hard to draw! this sketch reminds me of the accessories studies we had to draw at fashion school. for weeks the same few things. but in the end there was growing. of skills and style.
is this a boot you will wear the coming winter?

    1. It would be boring to draw the same things over and over again... But of course eventually it helps, I understand! I'm just surprised myself that I can draw as well as that - my art classes were in 6/7 grade - ages ago! I did not make any visual arts all these years, maybe just doodle very occasionally. This summer, I felt like drawing, but again, I did not do a lot of it. Fall usually inspires me to do something new! :)

Yes, new boots - in love wit them! :))))

    1. You are taller, I can tell from your photos! :) I wear size 8.5-9 US or 40 European.

  3. You certainly are exercising your creative talents! You just might inspire me to grab my sketch stuff. Have you ever gone out in public and sketched? Like in a coffee shop or someplace? I've only done it twice in my life. I feel so self conscious when I do it so I can't concentrate on the drawing. I guess I've been afraid of intruding on people's privacy.

    1. Joni, I do! I did sketches this past Summer, and just recently on the beach near home. And believe it or not was thinking to go to Snoqualmie to draw some old trains! - I though of it just yesterday!! :) I only spend 20 to 30 minutes on my sketches. Just enough to finish one coffee. :)
