Puyallup Festival of Books Local Author Festival, October 2018
Hello dear friends,
(Русский текст ниже!)
It's been a while since I've updated this blog. If you're interested in getting my book news sooner than I get to post them here, please keep in mind that I update my other blog, In The Writer's Closet, more frequently, and it isn't strictly style blog (though it's a big part of it), but I write about my book events and in general my life and thoughts there. I also have a facebook account which I try to update regularly - AnyaStories, as well as an Instagram account - AnyaStoriesBilingual. You can also find all about me and my books at my author website ChickenlegHouse.com where I update my events schedule. In short, it's been a busy time for me in a sense that I find various events that can be fitting for my books, everything from educational fairs, local arts and crafts shows and festivals to author/book events. I don't want to overbook myself - at this point, I am aiming for one event per month, so I can see what's out there and learn from my experiences without a huge rush. After all, I also need and want to have plenty of time and freedom for creativity! But it has been a wonderful experience to meet readers as well as other authors so far, and I wrote about my experience at the Multicultural Festival in Federal Way HERE, the Educational Fair in Bellevue HERE and the Local Author Festival in Puyallup HERE. There are a couple of fairs coming up in November and December too, and I was asked about a couple of author events in January and February, but it's too early to share the details. I will keep you posted as soon as I know more.
